Woman offers breast-feeding service to gay parents
A woman
has posted an offer on a French website to breast-feed babies of homosexual
male couples for 100 euros ($130) a day, stirring up media interest just weeks
after a divisive same-sex marriage law was passed.
The post,
which the website said it verified as genuine and legal, reads: "I am a
young mother in perfect health, a trained nurse of 29, and I am renting my
breasts to milk-feed infants."

referee stopped a game to break his Ramadan fast.
The game between Casa Sport and Yeggo was half-an-hour old when
referee Ousseynou Gueye suspended play so his officials could have a drink and
eat on the gde of the pitch. Despite being heckled by spectators, Gueye
finished his snack before resuming.

Real Babies given away as gift on a live talk show
Pakistani television is screening what many call its most
controversial content yet in a ruthless quest for ratings: a talk-show host who
gives away babies live on air.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a bespectacled 41-year-old with a
neatly trimmed beard, gave away two abandoned infant girls to childless
families last month and plans to give away a baby boy this week.
"If we didn't find this baby, a cat or a dog would have
eaten it," Hussain proclaimed during one broadcast, before presenting a tiny
girl wrapped in pink and red to her new parents. The audience erupted with

Johannesburg apologizes to Mandela for billing blunder
The City of Johannesburg apologized to Nelson Mandela and
his family on Monday for mistakenly posting a non-payment notice on the former
South African president's house warning him his electricity was about to be cut
off.
The city, which has faced a barrage of complaints from

Chidi Llyod, the Leader of Rivers House of Assembly wants to
sue the Nigerian Police ₦50 Million for inhuman treatment while in their
custody.
The Embattled Rivers State law maker Chidi Lloyd claims he
was blindfolded, battered and tortured by the Nigerian police and for that, he
wants N50 billion as compensation.
His legal team made this known today after Chidi Lloyd was
granted bail by a Rivers State high court. The presiding judge also ordered
that the majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly should not be
rearrested by the police.
The case was adjourned till August 12th.
Drama as 21-yr-old accused asks magistrate for food
The magistrate’s court sitting in Yaba, Lagos, yesterday,
witnessed a mild drama following an outburst by one of the arraigned suspects.
The incident occurred during the hearing of a two-count
felony charge brought against the suspect, Tunde Balogun (21), who instead of
pleading to the charges, brought out some drugs from his pocket as he cried to
the magistrate: “Please Ma, I have been on these drugs since Saturday. I am not
feeling okay. I have not had anything to eat since morning. Please Ma, if you can
help me, just give me something so that I can swallow these drugs.”
This prompted the magistrate to halt the session for some
minutes to ascertain the health condition of the accused from the Prosecuting

Girl, 14, died after 'web bullying'
A 14-year-old Leicestershire girl killed herself after being
bullied on a social networking site, her father has claimed.
Hannah Smith, from Lutterworth, was found hanged on Friday.
Her father Dave Smith wrote on Facebook that he found
bullying posts on his daughter's ask.fm page from people telling her to die.
Latvia-based ask.fm allows users to post anonymously. An
inquest into Hannah's death has opened in Leicester
